Three minutes away, Artemis Karamolegos shows the island’s modern face: a family label since 1952, rebuilt from 2004 into one of Santorini’s three largest and most decorated producers. This is where the meze lands — Santorini fava, tomato fritters, island cheese — timed at the halfway mark, because twelve wines on an empty stomach is nobody’s golden hour.

Then west to Venetsanos, the 1947 engineering marvel stacked down the caldera cliff, for the 75-minute finale. Honest expectations

This is the most-booked tour we run, and July–August departures genuinely sell out — the eight-seat cap is real, and Venetsanos’s terrace tables are finite. Book a week ahead in high summer. It’s also worth saying plainly: if your dream photo is at Santo Wines specifically, take the Caldera Classic in the morning instead — you’ll have its famous terrace in calm conditions, and you can always drive back for sunset on your own terms.
