Terms of service
Last updated: August 28, 2026 · Santorini Wine Tours, Fira, Santorini, Cyclades 84700, Greece
1. Who these terms cover
These terms govern tours and experiences booked with Santorini Wine Tours ("we," "us" — the family business at the address above). Booking a tour, by form, email, WhatsApp, or phone, means accepting them. Nothing here limits rights you hold under Greek and EU consumer law.
2. How booking works
A booking request is not yet a booking: your place is reserved when we confirm availability in writing (email or WhatsApp) — and no payment is taken before that confirmation. Payment method and timing are stated in the confirmation itself. Prices are in euros, per person unless marked otherwise, and include everything the tour page lists under "included" — winery fees, stated tastings and food, and pickup within the listed areas.
3. Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your tour — a full refund, no questions. Full detail, including weather and partner-experience clauses, lives in the cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
4. Alcohol, age, and behavior
Wine tastings are for guests aged 18 and over (Greek law). Guides pour with judgment: we may slow or stop service to any guest whose condition risks their safety, the group's experience, or a winery's hospitality — this isn't personal, it's the deal that keeps small cellars welcoming us. Non-drinkers join at a reduced rate arranged in advance. You are responsible for any damage you cause at visited premises.
5. Itineraries and substitutions
Our itineraries are published winery-by-winery and we treat that as binding. If a listed winery becomes unavailable (closure, private event, harvest operations, force majeure), we tell you before the tour where possible and offer a comparable named substitute or a full refund — your choice. Minor timing adjustments (traffic, ferry and tender schedules, sunset times) are part of island touring and not grounds for refund.
6. Pickup and punctuality
Pickup windows are confirmed the day before. Please be ready at the agreed point; a no-show after 15 minutes and unreachable by phone counts as a same-day cancellation. For cruise guests, the buffer and port terms on the shore-excursion page apply.
7. Health, accessibility, and dietary needs
Tell us at booking about mobility needs, allergies, pregnancy, or anything else that shapes your day — we'll route honestly around stairs, caves, and menus, and coordinate with each kitchen. Information you volunteer for this purpose is used only to deliver the tour.
8. Partner-delivered experiences
Sea experiences are operated with our partner Sirigos Sailing; proposal experiences are designed with our partner Santorini Proposals. Where a partner's own conditions apply (vessel safety rules, venue agreements), we say so in your confirmation, and their terms travel with ours.
9. Liability
We run tours with licensed drivers, insured vehicles, and professional care, and we are liable as Greek law provides for our own services. We are not liable for matters outside our control — weather, sea state, traffic, winery operations, ferry and cruise schedules — though we will always work the problem first and argue about clauses later. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Photos, disputes, the boring essentials
We occasionally photograph tours for our own site and social channels — tell your guide if you'd rather not appear, and that's that. These terms are governed by Greek law, with disputes belonging to the courts of Thira — after a genuine attempt to fix things directly: Info@SantoriniWineTours.com reaches the owners, not a department.
